Joanna Piotrowska – Your guide to the world of art
My name is Joanna Piotrowska. For many years, I have been working as an art advisor, art historian, cultural strategist and art dealer. I help clients find their way in the world of art – I advise on art purchases, create collections, appraise objects and represent collectors and institutions at auctions and exhibitions. I believe that art should be close to people – not only in museums, but also in homes, offices, residences and commercial spaces. I am an Ambassador for the National Museum in Warsaw and a Friend of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. I regularly publish on social media: LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, as well as on the website www.art-everywhere.com. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Between history and the art market
As an Art Advisor and Art Dealer, I support private clients, institutions, collectors and architects in building collections that have not only aesthetic value, but also market and emotional value.
I work with collectors, art market experts and financial sector specialists to form a team that helps clients make informed purchasing decisions.
I founded Art Everywhere to show that art does not have to be elitist. It can be present wherever we are — in homes, offices, public and commercial spaces. I believe that by surrounding ourselves with beauty, we live better, more peaceful and fuller lives.
My career path
I have always been surrounded by art — it has shaped my sense of aesthetics, my way of thinking and my sensitivity. After 20 years of working in the business world, I decided to devote myself fully to my passion: art history and working with the works of outstanding artists. For nearly a decade, I have been systematically expanding my knowledge by studying art history at the University of Warsaw and visiting museums, galleries and exhibitions around the world. I completed a specialised course entitled ‘Works of art as an investment asset’ at the Association of Polish Antique Dealers and Art Dealers, which allowed me to combine my sensitivity to beauty with business experience and a market-oriented approach to art as an investment.
Business experience
For two decades, I worked in the business sector, gaining experience in project management, customer relations and development strategy. It is these skills that I use today in my work with collectors and institutions in the art market.
20 years of experienceFounding Art Everywhere
I founded Art Everywhere as a space where art meets business, passion and everyday life. Since then, I have been helping clients to invest in art consciously and build valuable collections. I combine artistic expression with curatorial precision and effective commercial strategy. My mission is to bring together artists and collectors, institutions and ideas - across borders and cultures.
2017‘Works of art as investment assets’
I completed specialist training at the Association of Polish Antique Dealers and Art Dealers, focusing on the analysis of works of art in an investment context. This allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the market and develop a consulting model combining aesthetics with finance.
2020Graduated in Art History, University of Warsaw
I graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in art history to consolidate my academic knowledge and give a formal framework to my many years of experience. It was an important step towards professionalising my consulting services.
2019Curator of the exhibition at PKO BP Bank
I organised an exhibition of Maria Wollenberg-Kluza's work in the Rotunda of PKO BP Bank, creating a dialogue between art and the business environment. The project attracted considerable interest and was an example of the successful integration of art depicting people in their passions, emotions and existential problems with the corporate space.
2023Art Dubai
I took part in Art Dubai — one of the most important art events in the world. Representing Polish artists, I presented selected works on the Middle Eastern market, opening up new directions for Art Everywhere.
2024Cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
My main goal is to start building long-lasting and fruitful relations between Art Everywhere and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I am very happy to be part of these international and intercultural art initiatives.
2025How do I work?
Trust, knowledge, individual approach
Every client, every collection and every work of art tells a different story. That is why I work based on:
- dialogue and understanding your needs,
- reliable knowledge of the market, trends and values,
- complete confidentiality and discretion,
- a passion for art that does not end with analysis – but begins with emotion.
Whether you are creating a collection from scratch, want to sell an inherited work or need an expert opinion, I am here to guide you.
Publications
My experience and perspective on the art market have been quoted many times in industry and general culture media. Below are selected articles in which I share my knowledge, opinions and practices from my daily work with works of art.
Galeria
From time to time, it is worth remembering that a painting – oil on canvas, fresco, watercolour – is a real thing, a unique object whose surface and depth can only be assessed by interacting with it, when the viewer is in the same place in relation to the work as its creator. A painting occupies space in the world, which is impossible for music, for example; paintings live among us as irrefutable facts, hanging on walls, tangibly present. As objects, they are revered, admired, turned into commodities, stolen, destroyed or completely ignored. Photographs of paintings are only their pale shadows (…).
Contemporary painting is far too often experienced second-hand. Backlit digital files on screens and reproductions in books and magazines are poor substitutes for a dialogue with the original work. Although it may seem obvious, it is impossible to truly assess the merits of a painting without standing in front of it.
