Amelia “La Musicienne” Cup – Tamara de Lempicka – Ćmielów Porcelain

The painting clearly shows a synthesis of two seemingly contradictory aesthetic points of view.

The first draws inspiration from the Italian Renaissance, in the form of an almost seraphic figure who reads a few musical notes in turn with melancholic zeal. The second is contemporary and expressed against the backdrop of a futuristic metropolis.

According to the Dictionnaire des Symboles (Robert Laffont, Paris), blue is the most symbolic and immaterial color: “Movements and sounds, as well as forms, disappear into the blue, melt into it, dissolve into it like a bird into the sky… Entering the blue is a bit like Alice in Wonderland when she crossed over to the other side of the mirror.”

A specially designed background image was placed on the porcelain cup Amelia. The graphic with the background was also placed on the porcelain saucer.
Underneath the cup and saucer, there is a description with the title of the work and the logo of the Tamara de Lempicka Foundation.

Each product receives a dedicated certificate of authenticity.

HAND-CRAFTED PRODUCTION AND MARKING

Each cup is handmade from the highest quality porcelain, and then a decal fired at high temperatures is applied to the product by hand. The product has special security features in the form of underglaze and overglaze marks.

The mug comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY, which contains information about its handmade production and decoration, as well as information about the product (name, designer’s name, year of design, title of the image).
