Zofia Stryjeńska (1891–1976) is one of the most popular artists of the interwar period in Poland. She mainly practiced easel painting, but also worked in graphic arts, book illustration, fabric design, poster design, and toy design. She received numerous awards and distinctions for her work. She is the author of a series of panneaux referring to Polish tradition, depicting “The Ritual Year in Poland,” and the series “Young Polish Village,” which is a celebration of the beauty of rural life and youth.

The album showcases the magnificent work of Zofia Stryjeńska, distinguished by its dynamic shots, multicolored palette, rhythm, and decorative elements. The introduction to the album was written by Światosław Lenartowicz, an expert on Zofia Stryjeńska’s work, while Prof. Lech Majewski was responsible for the graphic design.
